| I am far from the text book catholic lined out here. My beliefs are not even all that religious. I am open to the possibility of God existing but have a belief that even if he does exist. Catholics are not neccesarily right in the way they worship him. They may of been inspired by god to create these things but afterwards they were open to human interpretation that has changed them over the years. Even if these interpretations were inspired by god the sheer scale of the people involved would make it impossible for them to interpret it correctly. I cannot devote myself to a religion that isn't even sure themselves how to worship their gods. I do believe in many of the Catholic beliefs though and know firsthand what a force faith is when drawed upon. If I had an unshakable faith i would be able to do anything from the sheer motivation provided by it. |
